با انعقاد قراردادی به ارزش ۷۰۰۰ میلیارد ریال که بزرگ‌ترین قرارداد بومی‌سازی شرکت ارتباطات زیرساخت و وزارت ارتباطات محسوب می‌شود، قرار است ۲۰ ترابیت بر ثانیه به ظرفیت شبکه انتقال کشور اضافه شود.
به گزارش ایسنا، یکی از مسائل مغفول مانده در حوزه ارتباطات، استفاده بهینه از ظرفیت خدادادی کشورمان برای ترانزیت دیتاست. ترانزیت داده بین غرب و شرق دنیا از طریق خاک کشور ما مزیت‌های ویژه‌ای برای کشورهای همسایه دارد که مهم‌ترین آن‌ها کاهش زمان پینگ ۲۰ تا ۳۰ میلی‌ثانیه ناشی از کوتاه شدن فاصله تا مراکز داده در اروپاست و همچنین امکان تعمیر و بازیابی خرابی مسیرهای فیبر در کوتاه‌ترین زمان نسبت به مسیرهای دریایی مثل دریای عمان، خلیج عدن و کانال سوئز است.
به‌عبارتی همه عوامل برای اینکه کشور ما به «هاب» منطقه‌ای ترانزیت دیتا تبدیل شود، فراهم بوده و بدیهی است که باید از این ظرفیت استفاده شود؛ از ابتدای دولت سیزدهم ۴۰ درصد به ظرفیت ترانزیت ترافیکی کشور افزوده شده و آنگونه که وزیر ارتباطات و فناوری می گوید قرار است ظرفیت ترانزیت دیتای کشور تا پایان دولت به ۴ ترابیت برسد.
طبق بررسی‌های انجام شده سطح ترافیک شبکه به‌صورت قابل قبولی افزایش پیدا کرده و میزان اشباع در آن به حداقل میزان خود نسبت به گذشته رسیده و پیشرفت در این زمینه همچنان ادامه دارد.
در ابتدای دولت سیزدهم ظرفیت شبکه انتقال ۳۵.۸ ترابیت بر ثانیه اما با برنامه ریزی وزارت ارتباطات در این دولت قرار است تا پایان امسال این ظرفیت دو برابر شود که ۷۰ درصد از این افزایش با استفاده از تجهیزات بومی باشد. طبق گفته مسئولان ظرفیت شبکه انتقال در ابتدای دولت سیزدهم ۳۵.۸ ترابیت بر ثانیه بود که تمام تجهیزات آن هم خارجی بوده است؛ اما در دولت سیزدهم وزارت ارتباطات و فناوری اطلاعات برنامه‌ریزی کرد تا پایان سال ۱۴۰۲ یعنی ظرف مدت ۳۶ ماه ظرفیت انتقال کشور را دو برابر کند.
در همین رابطه قراردادی برای اولین بار به ارزش ۷۰۰۰ میلیارد ریال که بزرگ ترین قرار داد بومی سازی شرکت ارتباطات زیرساخت و وزارت ارتباطات محسوب می شود منعقد و قرار است با استفاده از تجهیزات بومی ۲۰ ترابیت بر ثانیه به ظرفیت شبکه انتقال کشور اضافه شود.
گفتنی است تلاش برای تبدیل شدن ایران به هاب ترازیت داده از سالهای گذشته توسط دولت ها مورد تأکید قرار گرفته بود، به گونه ای که اواخر سال گذشته رئیس سابق شرکت ارتباطات زیرساخت اعلام کرد با حضور موثر این شرکت در عرصه بین المللی طی چندین ماه میزان ترانزیت داده از مسیر ایران عزیز اسلامی از ۱.۳ ترابیت‌برثانیه به بیش از ۲.۹ ترابیت‌برثانیه رسید.
گفتنی است چندی پیش جواد غلام‌پور- مدیرکل ارتباطات و فناوری اطلاعات قم- اعلام کرد: در حال حاضر کل ظرفیت پهنای باند ورودی استان قم ۹۶۰ گیگابایت بر ثانیه است که نشان می‌دهد در دو سال اخیر از مردادماه سال ۱۴۰۰ تاکنون بیش از ۱۶۶ درصد رشد داشته است.
مدیرکل ارتباطات و فناوری اطلاعات استان قم ادامه داد: ظرفیت شبکه انتقال استان به ۲۶۰ گیگابایت بر ثانیه رسید که نشان از رشد بیش از ۱۳۶ درصدی در مقایسه با سال ۱۴۰۰ دارد.
